Adamu Garba – USAID Funds Used To Buy Weapons For Boko Haram, ISWAP

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and former presidential aspirant of the party, Adamu Garba, has affirmed the allegations that the United States Agency for International Development, USAID, was funding Boko Haram and other terrorists organizations.

Garba said funds from USAID were used to procure weapons for Boko Haram, ISWAP, and other terrorists’ groups.

In a video he posted on his X page, Garba wondered how USAID spent $824 million last year in Nigeria.

Recall that Pennsylvanian Republican lawmaker, Scot Perry had claimed that USAID was funding terrorists organizations.

Speaking during the session tagged: “The War on Waste: Stamping Out the Scourge of Improper Payments and Fraud,” focused on alleged misuse of taxpayer funds, the Congress man alleged that $697 million in aid was being funnelled to Boko Haram, ISIS, and Al-Qaeda through USAID.

Reacting, Garba said: “I mentioned this before that Boko Haram, ISWAP, and most of these terrorists, the weapon they get is actually funded by some clandestine foreign operators, they are the ones supplying them weapons.

“The expose about the USAID has confirmed that Boko Haram and all these terrorists are getting their weapons through the funding from USAID.

“Just last year, USAID spent $824 million in Nigeria, where did the money go to? Do you know what $824 million means? When you convert it to naira you will find out its N1.3 trillion.

“This means that each state can have up to N36 billion, yet this is what they claimed to have spent in child care mortality and some education endowment, but what did you see; nothing.

“When did the money come in, where did it go to? These monies go to the funding of Boko Haram and kidnappers that are used to kill and destroy our land, that is the operation.

“A US Congressman has confirmed this statement, the Congressman made a speech by saying that Boko Haram, bandits, and terrorists operating in the Sahel are mostly funded by USAID.

“Africa is going to be great and terrorism is now ending, what Trump is doing in the US is to expose the entire global corruption scandals, this is just a tip of an iceberg.

“More is going to be released among the African elites, most of them in collaboration with criminals to destroy our land are soon going to be exposed and we will reclaim our country and continent for the betterment of our people and future.”
