Former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, has reacted to the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.
Nancy Pelosi was one of the key figures that ensured Trump never returned elected during the 2016 presidential election.
Pelosi, whose husband, Paul Pelosi was a victim of assassination attempt, condemned the attack and thanked God for safeguarding the former President.
“As one whose family has been the victim of political violence, I know firsthand that political violence of any kind has no place in our society. I thank God that former President Trump is safe,” she wrote on X.
“As we learn more details about this horrifying incident, let us pray that all those in attendance at the former President’s rally today are unharmed.”
