Southampton manager, Ivan Juric has showered encomium on Paul Onuachu following the forward’s impressive performance in the club’s 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace.

The tall striker put Southampton ahead with a superb header in the 20th minute minute.

Onuachu rose to direct Mateus Fernandes’ cross past Dean Henderson.

Crystal Palace stole a point through substitute Matheus Franca in stoppage time.

“Onuachu was really good, when he is full of energy he can be really good, he did good work,” Juric told BBC.

The 30-year-old has scored four goals in 20 league appearances for the South Coast club this season.
