Famous Nigerian music executive, Don Jazzy, has dragged a food vendor who gave him free nkwobi in exchange for singer Rema.

Speaking in a viral video shared on his Instagram page, he explained that the vendor asked him to let his top signee, Rema perform free at her forthcoming show.

Sharing the encounter, Don Jazzy publicly warned that “no one should give me free gift again. I don’t want it”.

While describing the encounter as the reason why he doesn’t appreciate free things, he questioned the exchange rate of Rema for a plate of nkwobi.

“Out of nowhere you give me free nkwobi that I didn’t ask for, which you insisted. I accepted and ate it. Suddenly, you want me to return the favour — you’re asking me to give you Rema?

“How does it even add up? Is the exchange rate for me? Because of nkwobi?”, he asked.
